ABOUT TINA!

TINA MANCINI is an actor, singer, voice over artist , certified teacher, writer, director, and creator based in Montreal. She has performed in Canada, USA and France.  Tina strives to tell compelling stories using a variety of art forms using both dramatic and comedic elements.

 

Part of Tina’s mission is to commemorate her Italian heritage. She is the creator of the online show ‘A Qua Si Parl U Dialett’, a place to celebrate and keep Italian dialects alive. She also wrote and performed in the Italian musical, ‘La Dolce Vita En Exil’, a musical honoring   the  Italian immigrants' journey of the 1950s. 

 

Some of her other stage roles include: Phantom (Carlotta), Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), Into The Woods (Witch), Merton of The Movies (Flips),  Great American Trailer Park- in English & French Canadian (Lin), Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche (Lulie), Le Pays du Sourire (Princess Mi) and Yeomen of the Guard (Phoebe).

 

Tina is a proud graduate of New York’s Circle in the Square Theatre School (Musical Theatre Professional Workshop) & McGill University (B. Ed). In Montreal.  She studied Bel Canto with Suzanne Robertson. She also studied classical voice at AIDM (Rome) and continues to train with Mirjana Milovanovic (Cirque du Soleil). Tina also studied at UCB and MSOPA.

Besides acting, Tina is passionate about working with the youth.  She created a children's youtube channel, Misty Delight, a place for early childhood learners to acquire language while having fun. Also a certified teacher, she  enjoys working with elementary and high school students, creating and directing stage and film related performances, as well as  teaching English as a Second language online.
